Only one man dares to defy the guillotine: the Scarlet Pimpernel. Based on the 1905 novel by Baroness Orczy, this theatrical adaptation rollicks with adventure, wit, and hilarity for all ages. Marguerite St. Just is a famous actress in Paris who marries the biggest fool in all of Europe, Sir Percy Blakeney, only to discover that he is the fearless leader of a band of young English noblemen. But does he have the ingenuity to outwit French agent Paul Chauvelin and his loyal soldiers? As "those Frenchies seek him everywhere," your sides will ache with laughter in the chase to catch "that cursed, elusive Pimpernel."
