Q1. How many scripts should I buy? A: If you are simply looking for something good to read, or you are wondering if one of our scripts is suitable for your school or organization to perform, you only need to buy one. If you are purchasing for your cast and production, you need to buy one script for each actor. You also should purchase scripts for technicians, set designers, props people, and others who need to follow the action and act accordingly. Under no circumstances is photocopying allowed. If someone in the cast or crew needs a photocopy, then you need to purchase a script for him or her.
Q2. Can I make a photocopy just for. . . ? A: No. Playwrights have written the plays to be sold, and the copyright laws were written to protect those rights to their play. If you need another copy for someone, you need to purchase a script for that person.
Q3. What is your refund and return policy? A: All playbooks and scripts are nonreturnable without exception, nor do we send perusal copies “on approval.” Please buy and study a perusal copy before placing a full order if you are unfamiliar with the play or the original book. (The small initial cost will allow you to make your final purchase with full confidence.)
Q4. What do your scripts cost? A: Prices for individual scripts are as follows:
Q5. What is the format of your scripts? A: Director’s script is spiral bound, 8 1/2 x 11, printed on one side of each page only to allow room for director’s notes and diagrams. Also includes full cast list, suggested role groupings, scenes’ properties list and directions, and full script. Actor’s script is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and includes a general cast list and full script. One script must be purchased for each actor.
Q6. How long are your plays? A: A good rule of thumb for determining the length of any play is 1 1/2 minutes per page. | ||
